There are so many opportunities available to do research at the University of Colorado at Boulder --you just have to know where to find them. Browse the options below and, when one catches your eye, click on the opportunity and it will take you to the corresponding webpage.

Discovery learning allows you to conduct research in an area related to your interests with faculty, graduate students, and industry or government partners. 

Through the YOU'RE@CU program, you’ll work on a research project 3-5 hours per week and participate in a 1-credit hour seminar course on research practices.

CU Summer Program for Undergraduate Research is similar to the DLA program. Students in the CU SPUR program earn hourly wages while engaging in research with college faculty and graduate students.

Handshake is a modern career network for students. Numerous job, internship and industry events are posted there throughout the year and it very  easy to search and find the right job for yourself.

UROP facilitates undergraduate participation in faculty-mentored research projects. Funding opportunities exist and the program is flexible, allowing research study in any academic area University-wide.

The COSGC is funded by NASA and is a state-wide organization involving 21 colleges, universities and institutions around Colorado. This organization provides Colorado students access to space through innovative courses, real-world hands-on telescope and satellite programs, and interactive outreach programs.

The Engineering Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program at CU Boulder allows undergraduates to have a year-round schedule that alternates professional work experiences with classroom coursework.  The Co-op Program can provide as much as two years of direct professional development within a five-year bachelor's degree program.

The SMART program offers ten-week research internships for historically underserved undergraduates in science and engineering each summer.
